How do I know my flat registration is done?

  Extract the encumbrance certificate (EC) as soon as registration was done. In the newly extracted EC, new buyer’s name should reflect. At the time of registration, a buyer or seller can demand the latest EC from the registrar. No additional cost to demand EC from registrar. The registrar is obliged to provide the latest EC as soon as registration done for your cross verification. In Bangalore, extracting EC at the time of registration is very general norm. you get EC without asking it. If not provided, definitely you should demand. An EC looks like the below image.
