We paid the BBMP property tax online, but we can not download the receipt, we keep on getting error?

 This is a very common error, here is the step by step procedure to troubleshoot

Step 1: Open the BBMP property tax website

Step 2: Refer to encircled rectangle in below image,

Enter 10 digit application number or PID number and enter first three characters of owner's name.

Click on “Retrieve”.

On the next screen, the owner’s name displayed. Refer to the circle in below image.

Click on “Confirm”. The following notification pop-up

Application No:16000**451. Already Payment is made for 20**-20**. Please check in Payment status. Refer to the circle in below image.

Click “OK” in the pop-up notification.

Step 3: Click “Payment Status” in main menuRefer to the circle in below image.

Type your 10 digit application number and click “Retrive”, refer to the circle in below image.

Below is the image of payment status,

If the payment is successful, In column 8, the status shows as “Receipt Generated”. Encircled in the image for your reference.

(Sometimes it may take 24 hours to generate receipt from the time of payment, hence wait for a day and recheck the status) continue with step 4 if Receipt Generated.

Step 4: Click “Downloads” in menu and click “Receipt Print” in dropdown menu. Circled in the below image for your reference.

In the assessment year, select the year of receipt to be downloaded. Refer to circle in below image,,

Type 10 digit application number and enter captcha displayed on screen. Refer to circle in the below image.

Click “submit”

The receipt should be download. Refer to the circle in below image (at left bottom)

The receipt looks like the below image,

This completes the troubleshoot.
