Who provides a property tax application and Khata transfer service in Nagasandra, Bangalore?
Newly build property:
When you purchase a new build property from builder or investor. It is mandatory to register your property details in municipality record and obtain the “Property Identification Number”( PID Number). This is the unique number for your property.
We pay property tax by using this PID Number or application number.
To file a property tax application we should have the following documents.
- Photocopy of sale deed
- Photocopy of encumbrance certificate
- Filled application form. An application form is available at BBMP office at request.
Lead time: 30 days
Property tax application is completely offline process hence we should followup with BBMP officer for completion and obtain the unique number.
Once you receive the PID or application number of your property from BBMP officer. Log into BBMP website and cross the check the name displayed in BBMP tax record. This is the link to the BBMP site BBMP Property Tax System
Refer to the below image in circle to located your name in BBMP website.
If the displayed name and contact number are corrected in BBMP record, proceed ahead for current year tax payment.
If correction requires in name or contact number, immediately inform the respective BBMP officer to correct.
Pay property tax and download the property tax receipt. A property tax receipt looks like below image.
This completes the procedure of property tax application for newly build property in Bangalore.
For Re-sale Property:
The procedure is very simple for resale property.
In resale property, one need not apply again for property tax application. All you have do is, change the name in existing property tax record.

Khata Transfer:
One can apply for Khata transfer online or Offline.
For Online application, please log in to Sakala Onlne services. Here is the link to the site Login Page
For Offline application, please visit nearest Bangaloreone center with relevant documents
