How do I detect difference between A Khata and B Khata property?

 The concept of A khata and B Khata are purely a local language to classify the legality of property. Officially there are no legal documents to classify the khata.

Legally qualified properties are eligible to receive the Khata Certificate and Khata extract from BBMP.

Properties that violates law and orders are not eligible to issue Khata certificate and khata extract from BBMP. Violated properties are registered under FORM ‘B” property register extract. Violations like deviation from approved building plan, building on non-converted land, Safety issues, etc..

The intention of FORM B is to improve the property tax collection.
